FAQ

+ What is your COVID policy?

I am offering free rescheduled weddings as long as I am available on your new wedding date. If you reschedule your wedding to a date where I am not available, your deposit remains non-refundable. I sincerely hope that your wedding will follow COVID safety guidelines. I am a Type 1 Diabetic so I am more vulnerable to the virus.

+ How many photos will I receive?

The number of photos that you receive largely depends on how much happens during the day. If you have a large list of family formals, a large bridal party, longer time to take couple’s portraits, etc., the total number will go up. I would say I average around 100 delivered photos for every hour shot.

+ How long does it take to get my photos?

Turnaround time depends what time of year it is. In the thick of wedding season (late Summer-Fall) it can take anywhere from 3-12 weeks to receive your photos. I edit in the order that your wedding or photo session occurred.

+ Do you recommend a second photographer?

Not usually! Unless you have a very large wedding (around 300 guests) and want a ton of photos of your guests, I am comfortable being the sole photographer. A large concern is usually when couple’s are getting ready at different locations and this can usually be solved by staggering your getting ready time or by adding an extra hour of coverage from me.

+ Are you willing to travel?

Yes!! There are fees associated with traveling that depend on the total distance, lodging, as well as how many days it may take up.

+ Do you offer photo albums?

No, I do not. You are given full printing rights to all of your photos so you are able to choose and organize your own album. As far as who I would recommend for your album--I’ve heard good things from Artifact Uprising and Milkbooks but I dunno just Google a bunch til you find something you like :)

+ How do we receive our photos?

I email a link to an online gallery. You will be able to download your photos, order prints, and share this link with your family and friends.

+ Do you deliver RAW photos?

I do not. Unedited RAW files are not indictive of the final product that you recieve and I do not deliver anything that does not represent my work or editing sytle.

+ How far in advance do you suggest booking?

A year to a year and half for weddings. Three months for engagement sessions.

+ What happens if you can’t make it to our wedding?

While I do not anticipate this ever being an issue, in the unlikely event that I am unable to shoot your wedding, I will find a replacement photographer to fill in for me. I will still edit the photos that your receive.

+ How do payment schedules work?

I require a 50% non-refundable deposit to hold your wedding date. The other 50% is due the date of the wedding.

+ Do you offer reduced packages?

With the exeception of micro-weddings and elopements, I do not offer reduced packages. For full wedding days, I need at least 8 hours to fully capture your day.

+ What rights do we have with our photos?

You have full printing rights for personal use.

+ Do you photograph LGBTQ+ weddings?

Abso-fucking-lutely!!!

+ Do we have to feed you on the wedding day?

Yes—a vegan meal please!

+ We noticed all the cool lil GIFs you make. Can you do some for us?

This is a service that I do not guarantee. It totally depends on if we have time as it may take a minute to choreograph your movements and whatnot. My top priority is as your photographer, so I will always make sure to focus on that first. Also, these things take forever to edit and put together. It's like 30-70 pictures put into one little clip--madness!!! Oh yeah, it's pronounced like the peanut butter. Dodge me with that hard 'g' shit.

+ Do you offer steamy sessions?

Yes! I am happy to shoot steamy sessions.

+ Can you recreate my Pinterest board?

Listen. I love a good Pinterest board. I think they are great for getting inspiriation. With that said, it takes a ton of time to constantly be checking my phone to make sure that I am working through every single pose. Maybe like 1 or 2 good ideas at most? I dunno, it's tedious and takes away from my creative process.

+ Are pets allowed at my engagement session?

If you have a pet and don’t include them in your session, I will actually be pretty offended. It is recommended that you bring someone to care for your pet after we are done taking pictures with them, though.

+ How many outfit changes should I have during my engagement session?

2-3 is a good number. One formal, one casual. If you opt for a formal outfit, I recommend starting the session in it so that we can work our way towards more fun and adventurous shooting.

+ What should we wear to our engagement session?

Whatever you feel comfortable in. One thing I suggest is more neutral colors. Bright colors tend to get lost in my editing style.
